STI ED-50 Rex Plus Electronic Watchdog, Barking Dog Alarm

REX PLUS is a fantastic product ! I will be ordering a second one from Amazon. My first REX I have had for over 14 years, before there was an internet. It works like new. Now I've discovered that you can plug it into an appliance timer, and the REX will turn on and off at whatever times of day or night you program the timer. This is so convenient, as we have it in our Amish gazebo, and we time REX to come on at 12 midnight and shut off at 6:00 AM. That way we can walk into the gazebo during the day without having to disarm REX. I'm going to buy the second REX to put at the upper deck door on the 3rd floor of our house. If you set the sensitivity to LOW, but put REX in front of the deck door, one can walk thru the hall without setting off REX, and REX will still bark loud when someone enters the room where it's positioned.
